As a consumer society we like, need and want different things and with a variety of options getting them can easily be achieved. When you apply this to the video game industry you get games in the various versions, from Regular to Limited Editions, to Collector’s and Deluxe Editions. In addition to these editions, retailers often take it upon themselves to offer pre-order incentives. Pre-Ordering will give you access to a specific item, weapon or accessory, a discount or some other incentive that is unique to the store to get customer to buy from that retailer. In 2011 we saw several games receive the incentives treatment and a few that received retailer specific incentives. Its now 2012 and retailers are back at it again. Mass Effect 3 and Prototype 2 have both been given retailer specific incentive months before their launch and you can guarantee a lot more will follow. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Feels...UNFINISHED!!!

Insomia Games has done something absolutely spectacular with Marvel's Spider-Man 2. I've just completed my story playthrough; finishing most of the side content along the way and it was a ride from start to finish. I'm going to try to avoid SPOILERS as much as possible but do forgive me if I do. By now you've seen the opening set piece for Spider-Man 2 but if you haven't its one hell of an opening. They go big. Insomnia comes out swinging and from there it keeps going up in scale and excitement. It's your classic Spider-Man story with some very familiar villains, some wonderful sequences and some very fun setups for what's to come with an Insomnia twist. I'll forgo talking about the story so we don't spoil anyone so I'll jump into my takeaways from Marvel's Spider-Man 2. One thing you can more than expect from a BioWare game is a gripping story. One that is both memorable and really makes the player experience a range of emotions. That same can be expected from Anthem , their upcoming game. This Story trailer talks about all the people you'll meet during the course of your game and how interacting with them can change your story. Your choices have consequences.
