August has come and Sony has several interesting free games lined up for its PLUS members. Coming this month on the PlayStation 4 are Mafia III. An open-world game set in the fictional city of New  Bourdeaux where you play as Lincoln Clay who seeks revenge against the Italian mob. Then there's Dead by Daylight,  an  asymmetric   survival horror   online multiplayer  video game where one player takes on the role of the killer and the others the survivors. On the PlayStation 3 front is Bound by Flame . It's an action role-playing game that puts you in the role of a hero possessed by a demon. Up next is Serious Sam 3: BFE a first-person shooter where you battle against hordes of enemies. Sony is also offering Drawer Slasher and Space Hulk for PS Vita and as a bonus Here They Lie, a PS VR title and Knowledge is Power, a PS4 PlayLink title.  All of these games are currently available and will be so for the remainder of the month through ea...

After Kingdom Heart 1.5 ReMIX was released last year, it looks like we'll be able to get our hands on the follow-up later this year. Kingdom Hearts 2.5 ReMIX will hit stores on December 2, exclusively on the PlayStation 3. With Kingdom Hearts 2.5 ReMIX comes Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts: Recoded. No matter how many times I see this game or play it, it always brings a tear to my eye. I love this entire franchise and, like all the fans out there, I can't wait to get my hands on this one. Sony has announced that there will be a God Of War: Ascension demo dropping late February. If you didn't get a chance to try the game when it was bundled with the Total Recall Blu-ray then now's your chance to give it a whirl.  Personally I'm not too excited about this prequel to the God of War series. I think where God Of War 3 left off was a brilliant way to keep the Kratos story alive and I'm more interested in seeing where they go from there than this.

Sony has announced today two new collections coming to the PlayStation 3 later this month. Infamous and God of War Saga join the list of already released and upcoming collections. God of War Saga will include God of War 1, 2 and 3 with addition to the two PlayStation Portable titles; while the Infamous Collection will include the two games in the series and the Festival of Blood DLC. These collections are schedule to be released on August 28 alongside the Ratchet & Clank Collection.
