Anthem is set to be released on February 22, 2019, and it has officially hit Alpha. What that means is that all the parts of the game are in and it can be played from beginning to end. One thing you can more than expect from a BioWare game is a gripping story. One that is both memorable and really makes the player experience a range of emotions. That same can be expected from Anthem , their upcoming game. This Story trailer talks about all the people you'll meet during the course of your game and how interacting with them can change your story. Your choices have consequences. OMG. There are certain instances when E3 is happening that a great game is announced. This is that instance. BIOWARE just announced their next game and man is it beautiful. It's an open-world RPG much like, and I hate to make the comparison but, Destiny. Only thing is, it looks so accessible. I'll get the Xbox One X just so that I can play this game with friends and experience it at it's best.

Happy New Year to everyone. I wanted to wait until next week to start posting for the new year but we're already receiving great news about upcoming games. One such piece of news is Mass Effect Andromeda's release date. The game is set to be released on March 21st in the US and the 23rd in the UK. That is right around the corner. Also coming out of CES is a new gameplay vid that shows off some of the menus and how you switch different abilities and classes. March cannot come soon enough. --- Courtesy of Games News Network

In another trailer that dropped alongside the Mass Effect Andromeda Cinematic Reveal Trailer, the Andromeda Initiative Orientation Briefing takes a different tact but reveals a lot more about the game.  We find out the reason for the 600 year long journey which is basically to find habitable worlds in the Andromeda system. We also learn that their are three Arks including Hyperion, the one you're on, with a main hub called the Nexus that will be traveling to the Andromeda system. On each Ark is a Pathfinder, a mix of soldier, scientist and guide who runs the show. The video goes on to say over the next coming weeks we'll be granted access to information about Arks, ground vehicles, first contact protocols and weapons and biotics training should we be accepted onto the Pathfinder team. It's N7 day, the day that has become synonymous with everything Mass Effect. Today we are celebrating Mass Effect Andromeda with a Cinematic Reveal trailer. In the trailer we get to meet our protagonist that will herald us into the new frontier, our pathfinder. We also get a glimpse of our enemy, monsters and the environments we'll get to visit. If this trailer is any indication of what this game will be like, I think one word sums it up -- EPIC. I have to say from the brief pieces of gameplay mixed in throughout this trailer the game looks beautiful and I wouldn't expect anything less. My wish for Andromeda is to put me back into that same place that Mass Effect 2 did. Expect to get your hands on Mass Effect Andromeda next Spring. --- Courtesy of Games News Network

Today a gorgeous trailer was released for the upcoming Dragon Age: Inquisition game by Bioware. All I can say is that it looks breathtaking and not just the visuals but the new enemies, mechanics, and as well combat. Mass Effect 3 currently has a Bounty Weekend event active. The event entitled Operation: Geronimo takes place from Jan 18th to Jan 20th. See the event details and rewards below. Event Description: Reaper units are identifying and targeting our team medics. To counter, we are increasing training in battlefield medicine for all N7 soldiers, regardless of specialty. By ensuring each soldier can deliver emergency care, we will confuse and frustrate the Reapers into abandoning their strategy. Individual Goal:  Earn any first aid medal on any map at any difficulty. Reward: Commendation Pack 

It looks like we're about to retake Omega and I bet Aria couldn't be more happy. The latest piece of DLC for Mass Effect 3, releasing tomorrow, will see Shepard and the crew team up with Aria as they return to reclaim Omega.

The Mass Effect 3's DLC Leviathan is scheduled to be released on the 28th promising to  further expand our knowledge of the Reapers. New weapons, locations and a gripping story are enclosed within this upcoming package. Check out the new trailer below.

Operation Olympus kicks off this weekend. This Mass Effect 3 Bounty Weekend event will include the following tasks and rewards: Squad Goal : Full extraction from Firebase London using any Kit on any difficulty Allied Goal : Using any Kit/ Map combination against any enemy, complete wave 10 on a combined community total of 200,000 Bronze missions, 175,000 Silver missions and 70,000 Gold missions. BioWare has announced today the first piece of Mass Effect 3 single-player DLC headed to the ME 3 universe. Leviathan will see players searching the galaxy for something powerful enough kill a reaper. Players will also delve deeper into the origins of the reapers. The Leviathan DLC will be available later this summer for $10/800 MSP. Additionally BioWare has also revealed the FireFight weapon pack which will feature several powerful weapons for your single-player campaign. This will cost $2/160 MSP and be available on August 7th. It seems that BioWare has more Mass Effect 3 DLC in the works. According to a listing on MajorNelson.com , a Mass Effect 3: Earth Multiplayer Expansion Pack is scheduled to be released next week Tuesday, July 17th. The is no official word on what the DLC Pack will include but you can be sure that BioWare will let us know in the next coming days.

Bioware has announced the next Mass Effect 3 multiplayer event. Starting Friday June 22 at 6pm PST and ending on Monday June 24 at 4am PST, player will be able to take part in this event. The goal of this event is as follows: Allied Goal: Eliminate 7 million trooper-level enemies: Cerberus, Assault Trooper, Husks, Cannibals, Geth Troopers Squad Goal: Extraction on any difficulty with the squad using a mix of Krogan, Vorcha, or Batarian classes Squad Goal Success: Squad awarded a Commendation Pack Allied Goal Success: All players awarded a Victory Pack [via Bioware ]

It would seem that BioWare is considering taking Star Wars: The Old Republic into the Free to Play realm. According to Emmanuel Lusinchi, Lead Designer at BioWare, the studio is investigating said possibilities and stated "We are looking at free-to-play, but I can't tell you in much detail. We have to be flexible and adapt to what is going on."  It makes perfect sense for BioWare to consider this model for SWTOR. The F2P market is getting bigger and better; so if gamers are given the option of playing something both fun and free -- most likely they'll opt for that compared to a subscription based model. Personally I'd love for them to go F2P. It would give me the ability to play whenever without having to feel like I wasted money by not playing with the month. We'll have to wait and see what BioWare decides for the future SWTOR. [via Joystiq ]

A week ago we found out that new Mass Effect 3 multiplayer DLC was about to drop in Hong Kong with no word on its States side release. Today BioWare announced the next ME3 DLC codenamed Rebellion, arriving on Xbox Live, Playstation Network and PC next Tuesday, May 29 (May 30 on the PSN in Europe). The DLC, which is free to anyone who redeemed the online pass for Mass Effect 3, will offer new characters, gear, maps and kits. Here's a look at the new classes: Vorcha Soldier Thanks to their unique physiology and their Bloodlust ability, the Vorcha are joining the fight and are perfectly suited for the utilitarian soldier kit. The next Mass Effect 3 Bounty Weekend has been announced. Beginning Friday, May 25th at 6:00PM PT until Sunday, May 27 at 5:00PM PT, Operation SHIELDWALL will be in effect. Here are the details of this operation. Allied Goal: Promote 50,000 characters. Squad Goal: Promote 3 characters. Special Circumstance: Due to the failure of Operation SILENCER, more banshees will spawn with Reaper enemies and might also spawn with other enemies. Squad Goal Success: Squad members awarded a Commendation Pack. Allied Goal Success: All players awarded a Victory Pack (high chance of containing a Rare weapon).
