Asura's Wrath is simply put-INSANE. Not in a bad way of course, in an over-the-top, that was totally awesome, entertaining kind of way. Asura's Wrath is a game that should be played just for the shear enjoyment. CyberConnect2 and Capcom tried something different with this new IP and depending on who you ask they've either created a great game or something that isn't quite there. In any case, you should definitely give this beat-em-up a try.

Asura's Wrath has been out a week and the reviews for the game are a mixed bag. Some people like it while other don't think too highly of it. The game follows Asura, a demigod, who is betrayed and banished by his fellow demigods. Twelve thousand years later he awakens to a new world and a longing for vengeance. What ensues is a series of cutscenes, quick-time events and boss battles that is rarely seem within a video game. Here are a few reviews to give you an idea of how over-the-top Asura's Wrath can be. A game that may not be on everyone radar, Asura's Wrath, from the folks at CyberConnect2, just released a demo on Game Marketplace. If you were curious or up in the air about this one, now's the time to download it and try it out. As of right now it seems to be a GOLD EXCLUSIVE but others shouldn't have to wait long to get their hands on it. [via Major Nelson ]
