  Yes, I know this is quite late as the demo for Final Fantasy XVI was released back on June 12th, but it needs to be said that this is one of the best demos I've played to date. The demo gives you two snippets from the game. The first few opening hours which ends in an unbelievable moment (no spoilers here). Once you finish that, it gives you a slice of the game a few hours in with unlocked abilities. One is story heavy while the other is more about the combat system. Starting up the first story-related segment is a wonder. You're placed into control of the Phoenix Eikon with no idea of what's going on while you fighting against Ifrit. It transitions seamlessly to see you take control of Clive as he hunts for the Shiva Dominant. You're treated to some story related cutscenes that setup up the, and I hate to use it, Game of Thrones-like story. This story is DARK, that needs to be said upfront and honestly, for me--it works. Those looking to give FUSE, from Insomniac Games, a go will be able to do so starting next week on May 7th. The demo will feature both split-screen co-op and four player online play and will be available on the PS3 and Xbox 360. FUSE will be released on May 28th.

Yesterday I posted a Story So Far video for Dead Space 3. Today I'm reporting that a demo for the game is scheduled to drop at the end of January. To be exact, the demo will drop on January 22nd. Those looking to get the demo a week earlier, on January 15th, can head over HERE  and try their luck for an early access code. Dead Space 3 will be released on February 5th in the US and the 8th in the UK.

When I first saw the reveal trailer for the Devil May Cry reboot I couldn't be more excited. After my time with Devil May Cry 4 I was left wondering when I'd see Dante again. In the upcoming DmC: Devil May Cry developed by Ninja Theory the studio decided to create a different origin story for Dante, making him younger and changing his look--to the dismay of many fans who have come to see Dante with his iconic white hair--now black.  I'll make this short. I'm fully behind Ninja Theory with this reboot. Dante may not look the same (not that it ever bothered me) but it feels like a Devil May Cry game. After playing the recently released demo a few dozen times I've come away with a few things. The first, the game looks beautiful. Being pulled from a drab, lifeless real world to the world of Limbo is where the game really pops. Limbo feels like it has a life of it's own and really adds to the over-the-top flare that we've all come to love about Devil May...

Well here's your official confirmation that the DmC Devil May Cry demo will be available on November 20th for both the Xbox 360 and PS3. You'll be able to play two mission including a boss fight and once you finish the demo you'll unlock the Son of Sparda difficulty. This announcement was made by Capcom on their BLOG  who also promise a few surprises in the demo. Next Tuesday cannot come soon enough. This also means I'll be playing this come Thanksgiving weekend which is just perfect.

Xbox 360 owners and Resident Evil fans are in for a pleasant surprise today. Capcom has released the Resident Evil 6 demo giving those who bought a new copy of Dragons Dogma access to it. The demo lets you play segments from Leon's, Chris's and Jake's campaign and experience all the new mechanics that come with this installment of RE.  I know what I'll be playing later today.

Famitsu has reported that a demo for Platinum's latest beat-em up Anarchy Reigns will be released in Japan on May 31st. The demo will include both single-player and multiplayer elements.  There no word on whether the demo will be released in the US but you can get you hands on Anarchy Reigns on July 3rd. A Spec Ops: The Line demo has been released on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network allowing you a go at the game before its release on June 26th. The demo gives you access to two section from the games campaign. Currently only XBL Gold Subscribers have access to the demo with everyone else receiving access on May 15th.

Capcom's open world RPG, Dragon's Dogma, will be released soon but before  it is you can get your hands on the demo. The demo was released today on XBL and PSN. The XBL version is exclusive for Gold member (for now). Within the demo you'll be able to play the Prologue mission as well as a Country Side mission (each with a different class). In addition you'll also be able to customize you character and a pawn, that can be imported into the full game when its released next month. Dragon's Dogma is definitely one to watch, so get out there a give it a try.

Dragon's Dogma is set to be released in May but before that Capcom is going to give you a taste of what's to come.

A bit unexpected but the Binary Domain demo landed today. By playing the demo players will get to experience the unique world and AI system that the game has created for both enemies and the players partner's. Binary Domain, by Sega and Yakuza Studio, is scheduled to be released later this month.

The highly anticipated Mass Effect 3 gets a demo release today. In the demo you get to play the first few moments of the game and a later section that focuses more on the gameplay and storytelling. By playing the demo you also unlock specific in-game items for Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning that was released last week. The demo will hopefully help tide you over until the game is released in March.

If you're dying to get your hands on Resident Evil 6 but don't want to wait until November 20th to play it, here's your chance. It has been announced that Capcom's new action-RPG, Dragon's Dogma, will come packing an early access code to the Resident Evil 6 demo. Xbox 360 players will be able to access the demo earlier on July 3rd while others will get the demo in September. The Syndicate 4 player co-op demo has gone live. This new re-imagination of the classic 1993 game by Starbreeze Studios pushes it in a new direction. The demo has you teaming up to take down rival Syndicate Cayman Global and will let players experience using the games breach mechanic. Want more after the demo? the game is schedule for release on February 21 in the US and February 24 in Europe.

According to Major Nelsons blog those who are looking to get their hands on the reboot of the Syndicate series will not have to wait much longer. The co-op demo is slated to be released on January 31 giving gamers a lot of time to get a feel for the game before its February 21 release date. Originally thought to have a January release date, the ME3 demo has been pushed back to February 14. This news comes via way of a new video released today showcasing Mass Effect 3 with Kinect functionality. This new function has alot of possibilities to increase the level of immersion for a player as the won't have to pause the game to issue commands or change weapons. The Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning demo drops today on the XB Game Marketplace. Those who are eagerly awaiting this game can now get a taste of it by playing the Introductory level followed by a 45 minute session in the game world. As mentioned last week, playing the demo unlocks items for both Mass Effect 3 and Reckoning games respectively. Reckoning is schedule to be release on February 7 in the US and February 10 in EU. In a great start to this mornings industry news, the demos for Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and Mass Effect 3 will both offer gamers a chance to receive in-game items. The Reckoning demo will unlock items for ME3 and itself respectively, while the ME3 demo will unlock items for Reckoning. A game that may not be on everyone radar, Asura's Wrath, from the folks at CyberConnect2, just released a demo on Game Marketplace. If you were curious or up in the air about this one, now's the time to download it and try it out.
