Marvel Vs. Capcom 4 Rumored for 2017

Image
There's a rumor floating around that there will be a new Marvel Vs. Capcom in 2017 and that the announcement will happen during the PlayStation Experience Event (more on this in a subsequent post) in a few days. I'm not sure how I feel about this one. I liked Marvel vs Capcom 3 but I didn't enjoy it as much as Marvel vs Capcom 2. I felt like it was missing something but hopeful the next iteration can fix that. Looking forward to seeing if this is true of not. --- Courtesy of Games News Network

Rumor Mill: The Next Call Of Duty

Image
We've all become accustom to the yearly release of Activision's Call of Duty, so the listing that appeared online should come as no surprise to anyone. Slated to be released later this year, November 5 according to the Target  listing , Call of Duty: Ghosts will be the next game in the franchise. We've seen games outed like this before and even though this may be a rumor right now, it could hold some credibility, especially given that E3 is right around the corner. Rumor or not well have to wait for confirmation and based on what I've read it should be happening soon. -- Courtesy of Games News Network

A rumor has started that states Rocksteady's next Batman title will take him back in time to the Silver Age. Warner Bros. and Rocksteady are taking Batman back to when he first encountered the Joker and may also include the Justice League in some form. I'm an fan of both Batman games from Rocksteady but we've had two game already with the Joker being in the forefront--how about someone new for the next installment. While just a rumor I look forward to what's next for our caped crusader.

So stay tuned to all the E3 coverage and be mindful that this is still just a rumor. Brought to you by X360A

Rumors: The Future of Microsoft's Xbox

Image
Over the past week there has been a lot of rumors and speculations on several aspects on what the next generation Xbox will be capable of. Now take everything you're about to read with a grain of salt as they are just rumors and have not officially been confirmed. In 2011 there were rumors that the next Xbox would be coming in 2012 and would be shown at this year's CES which never happened. It was also rumored that it would make an appearance at this years E3 but Microsoft has stated that there won't be anything new this year. E3 in 2013 also holds the possibility of being when Microsoft decides to reveal their new console with the release following shortly after. As CES 2012 has passed its safe to assume that the 2013 reveal for the next Xbox is more likely. Along with a rumored release date comes a new name. XBOX 720 seems like the next logical choice but rumors suggests the system has been codenamed XBOX LOOP. Next up hardware. One of the news bits about the next gen...

Rumor: The Wii U Might Become A Fully Functional E-Reader

When I first saw the Wii U reveal at last years E3 I was impressed. Nintendo always finds a way to innovate the industry and the Wii U aims to do just that. Apart from using the Wii U as a controller, it is now rumored to function as an e-reader. This news paints the Wii U not just as a video game device but as a digital media device as well. An appealing prospect from Nintendo for both non and hardcore gamers. Its now left to Nintendo to confirm or deny this rumor.
