Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Feels...UNFINISHED!!!

Image
Insomia Games has done something absolutely spectacular with Marvel's Spider-Man 2. I've just completed my story playthrough; finishing most of the side content along the way and it was a ride from start to finish. I'm going to try to avoid SPOILERS as much as possible but do forgive me if I do. By now you've seen the opening set piece for Spider-Man 2 but if you haven't its one hell of an opening. They go big. Insomnia comes out swinging and from there it keeps going up in scale and excitement. It's your classic Spider-Man story with some very familiar villains, some wonderful sequences and some very fun setups for what's to come with an Insomnia twist. I'll forgo talking about the story so we don't spoil anyone so I'll jump into my takeaways from Marvel's Spider-Man 2. I absolutely love everything about Marvel's Spider-Man 2, even though I could see some of the story points coming a mile away, it was still fun to experience. Jumping bet...

Marvel Spider-Man: Photo Mode Trailer

Image
With Marvel's Spider-Man set to be released in just a few days, Insomniac Games has released a trailer for the games Photo Mode. Photo Mode has become a staple of a lot of recent games, including The Witcher 3 and most recently God Of War. In this trailer, we get to take a look at all the possibilities and I have to say that it looks like gamers will be taking lots of great pictures, like Peter Parker himself, of our favorite wall-crawler. ==== Courtesy of Games News Network Video courtesy of Insomniac Games

Marvel Spider-Man: A Look At Combat

Image
J. Jonah Jameson is back again with another insightful video about our favorite wall-crawler menace, as he'd claim. In this episode, he goes after Spider-Man's use of gadgets, different suits and suit abilities. Now, this is the first time we actually get to see any of the suit abilities. From the Spider-Punk suit's area-of-effect attack to the Scarlet Spider suit's multiple holograms. Combat in Marvel Spider-Man will be varied and fun, to say the least. We're just two short weeks away now. ==== Courtesy of Games News Network Video courtesy of PlayStation[Youtube]

Marvel Spider-Man: Exploring New York City

Image
Marvel Spider-Man is three short weeks away from it's September 7th release date. This new trailer explores the open world of New York City. You get glimpses of all the notable landmarks around the city as Spidey traverses between them fighting crime and grabbing collectibles. We even get to see him using the metro. Three weeks can't go by fast enough. I think we've all waited patiently enough for this game. ==== Courtesy of Games News Network

Eager to Play Marvel's Spider-Man

Image
Insomniac's Marvel Spider-Man, due out in September, had a great showing at E3 a few days ago. I've watched every gameplay video that I could find from the time and I have to say that I can't get enough of this game and I can't wait to get my hands on it. I literally sent a tweet to Insomniac begging for them to release a demo. PLEASE. Feed my need to play this awesome game. Everything about this game makes me want to play it so bad. From the web-swinging to the combat, it all looks so great. So wonderful. So much like Spider-Man and I can't wait to be him in this game. More importantly, I want, much like all the other Spidey fans out there I'm sure, I want to see how this game's story unfolds. The Sony Press Conference gameplay trailer ended on such a cliffhanger that it has sparked so many fan theories. Who's the mastermind behind it all? I have my own theories and I want to see what happens next. Let's talk about web-swinging first. It looks...
