Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX Release Date

Image
After Kingdom Heart 1.5 ReMIX was released last year, it looks like we'll be able to get our hands on the follow-up later this year. Kingdom Hearts 2.5 ReMIX will hit stores on December 2, exclusively on the PlayStation 3. With Kingdom Hearts 2.5 ReMIX comes Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts: Recoded. No matter how many times I see this game or play it, it always brings a tear to my eye. I love this entire franchise and, like all the fans out there, I can't wait to get my hands on this one. Enjoy the trailer below and the the small Kingdom Heart 3 tease at the end. ----- Courtesy of Games News Network

Mortal Kombat X Announced

Image
Mortal Kombat X has been officially announced with a stunning cinematic-gameplay trailer. It's so beautifully done that I, one, can't wait to see more of this game and two, really want to go play the last Mortal Kombat game.  In the trailer there are several nodes to other games and previous MK titles. X-ray attacks are back, weapons and what looks like more emphasis on using the environment.  This trailer comes days before the Electronic Entertainment Expo kicks off on June 10th. You can expect to see more about the game then before it's released sometime next year. I'm curious what else this latest installment will have in store for us and we can already tell that Sub-Zero and Scorpion will be making a return, although redesigned (which I love). Going by the trailer, the game seems to follow themes sets by Black Ops 2 with future tech and weaponry. Kevin Spacey takes a lead role in this forthcoming installment which will hit store shelves on November 4th. I myself enjoyed the bit of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 that I played, so I'm looking forward to what Advance Warfare brings to the table. ----- Courtesy of Games News Network

Gaming Woes

Image
It's been some time since I've done a post to Games News Network. Not just that, it's also been awhile since I've played a game to completion. Forget that my backlog is ever growing. I just can't seem to find the time to sit and play for extended hours. The last game I dropped into my Xbox 360 was Castlevania: LoS 2. Which is a great game, loved the first one. Even though I haven't been doing regular updates, the gaming industry still continues to thrive. Each and every day there's something new.  This stint of non-gaming and a lack of updates cannot stand any longer. As such, I will try my best return to form with regular updates and articles. So until then, keep on gaming. Courtesy of  Games News Network
