When Nintendo first announced Bayonetta 2 would be coming to their platform as an exclusive title I thought the move was very surprising. Bayonetta is one of my favorite games and after seeing this trailer I can't wait to see what Platinum Games does with the sequel. I've fallen in love with her all over again, her short hair and blue guns (not to mention the over-the-top action) just look remarkable.

Care to learn more about the story behind Gearbox Software's upon Aliens: Colonial Marines, then take a look at the story trailer they released. Aliens Colonial Marines is set to release February 12, 2013. I don't know about you but being a big fan of all things Alien I can't wait to get my hands on this game.

So it's been some time since we've heard anything about Anarchy Reigns, Sega multiplayer brawler. Well here's some good news, the game is scheduled to be released on Jan 8th in the US and Jan 11th in Europe--FINALLY. The kicker is that the game has a suggested price of $29.99, which is quite low for a new retail game. It begs the question WHY? but far be it for me to question a reasonable price.

Sega has announced that it is bringing Phantasy Star Online 2 to North America in 2013. Sega hopes that the successor to Phantasy Star Online will be widely received and aims to push the boundaries of the online RPG experience. I thoroughly enjoy my time with Phantasy Star Online when it was released for the Dreamcast, so I can't wait to get my hand on its successor.

Well it seems like another game is getting delayed until 2013. It was announced yesterday that Anarchy Reigns will not be releasing States side in July and will now be moving to Q1 of 2013. Well that's just great, there goes probably the only game I was going to get this summer. Although we'll have to wait, the game will still be released this July in Japan.

It seems like every week, for the past few at least, we always start out with news that some game has been delayed. This week it's Aliens: Colonial Marines by Gearbox Software. This news coming from Sega today is quite surprising as the game was already pushed back once this year and now will be releasing on February 12, 2013.

Gearbox's Aliens: Colonial Marines was the only alien related game I was aware of.  Sega's Alien game is currently being developed by Creative Assembly and is based on the first movie. A recent job listing has shown that Creative Assembly is looking to develop the game for both current and next-gen consoles. Not much is known about the game at this time but it seems Creative Assembly is looking to make it akin to Dead Space 2. I like Alien and Dead Space and putting those two into a game terrifies me--in a good way of course.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed was revealed today by Sega as the follow-up to 2010s Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing. Going by the official trailer and the bit of gameplay, Sega is adding boats and planes to the mix. Check out the trailer below.

[UPDATED]: Includes Video. Original Post: In a not-so-surprising move, Bayonetta will be make an appearance in Anarchy Reigns. Thanks to Famitsu we know she will appear in the game as a playable character. When Anarchy Reigns was first reveal everyone speculated that this fiery vixen, and her hair, would make it into the game and now we know for sure. Anarchy Reigns doesn't have a set release date but it is expected sometime this year. [via Joystiq ]

Someone unexpected will be joining Kasumi and the rest of the cast of Dead or Alive 5. Akira Mito from the Virtua Fighter series will be a playable character when the game is released.

In what you would call a teaser trailer, Sega has announced that it plans to release one of the best Dreamcast games on XBLA and PSN. Fans of Jet Grind Radio will remember this game well and will be eagerly awaiting its release.

A bit unexpected but the Binary Domain demo landed today. By playing the demo players will get to experience the unique world and AI system that the game has created for both enemies and the players partner's. Binary Domain, by Sega and Yakuza Studio, is scheduled to be released later this month.

Chalk another one up to games delayed in 2012. Aliens: Colonial Marine by Gearbox Software was scheduled for a Spring release window but has now been pushed to this Fall. This may be sad news for many but here's a new cinematic trailer courtesy of IGN that is sure to help relieve some of that pain.
