So it's been some time since we've heard anything about Anarchy Reigns, Sega multiplayer brawler. Well here's some good news, the game is scheduled to be released on Jan 8th in the US and Jan 11th in Europe--FINALLY. The kicker is that the game has a suggested price of $29.99, which is quite low for a new retail game. It begs the question WHY? but far be it for me to question a reasonable price.

Well it seems like another game is getting delayed until 2013. It was announced yesterday that Anarchy Reigns will not be releasing States side in July and will now be moving to Q1 of 2013. Well that's just great, there goes probably the only game I was going to get this summer. Although we'll have to wait, the game will still be released this July in Japan.

Famitsu has reported that a demo for Platinum's latest beat-em up Anarchy Reigns will be released in Japan on May 31st. The demo will include both single-player and multiplayer elements.  There no word on whether the demo will be released in the US but you can get you hands on Anarchy Reigns on July 3rd. [UPDATED]: Includes Video. Original Post: In a not-so-surprising move, Bayonetta will be make an appearance in Anarchy Reigns. Thanks to Famitsu we know she will appear in the game as a playable character. When Anarchy Reigns was first reveal everyone speculated that this fiery vixen, and her hair, would make it into the game and now we know for sure. Anarchy Reigns doesn't have a set release date but it is expected sometime this year. [via Joystiq ]

In 2011, gamers had a year filled with games that missed there original release date. Although the year turned out to be a great one, waiting for a game to be released just to have it pushed back can be heart-wrenching. Gears of War 3 was delay almost five months and Mass Effect 3 was pushed into another year. It is now 2012, the year has just started and already games are seeing their original release date altered. Most recently Saber Interactive's Inversion was move from its February 7 release date to March 27 and while Max Payne 3 was originally scheduled for a March release, Take-Two has decided to move the game to a May release window.
