Image
Image Source: thexboxhub With August well underway, it's time for another month of free games for both the Xbox One and PlayStation Plus Stores (more on that in a subsequent post). This month the Xbox Games with Gold line-up is pretty good. For the month of August from August 1st to August 31st gamers will have instant access to Forza Horizon 2. For Honor is an action fighting game that has you taking on the role of Knights, Samurais or Vikings in a post-apocalyptic setting. On the Xbox 360 backward compatibility front, we start the month out with Dead Space 3 which will be available from August 1st through the 15th. Dead Space 3 is a co-op survival horror game and ...

EA Press Conference Impressions

Image
Electronic Arts just wrapped its E3 Conference and with ten developer and ten games showcased--EA manages to impress. Crysis gameplay, Battlefield 3-Premium, Dead Space 3 co-op gameplay reveal and UFC joins EA are just a few highlights of the show. Check out the E3 2012 for videos from the show and the entire conference. I'm somewhat skeptical at how immersive the experience will be in Dead Space 3 with a co-op character/partner there dropping random lines when you're trying to be scared. However it does look like Visceral is really taking it to the next level. Crysis 3 looks amazing, but that's to be expected from the Crytek team and the CryEngine.

New Visceral IPs show up on Resume

Image
A resume of on LinkedIn, a business-oriented social networking site, has put a spotlight on several of IPs that have yet to be announced. The resume in question lists the individual doing graphic design, UI Art Direction and concepts for both Dead Space 3, Arm of Two 3 as well as an unannounced title. There have been rumors surrounding both Dead Space 3 and Arm of Two 3 and seeing this just adds another nail in the coffin for confirming the game. [via OXM ]

Pre-order for New Dead Space Listed

Image
Could information on Dead Space 3 be forthcoming. BT Games, a South African retailer, seems to think so and has listed a pre-order sku for the game on its site. According to IGN BT Games has a knack for revealing games before they are officially announced. Although we could be jumping the gun and this could just be a placeholder in the event that their is an announcement. For now EA has not made any official comments about the next Dead Space but it makes you wonder if they will with E3 right around the corner. With the first two games in the series being successfully there's more than enough to release a third. Hand me my Plasma Cutter and bring on the Necromorphs.
