A Video Gamers Digest
Video Games are a unique media that are enjoyed by people, both young and old worldwide. Adults, teens, and kids all play games to escape to a fantasy world, educate themselves, get up and dance or just socialize with friends.
My aim in creating Games News Network is to build a place where I could show others all the great games, media and news that come out of the industry. It's all about giving back to an industry that has given gamers so much.
One thing you can more than expect from a BioWare game is a gripping story. One that is both memorable and really makes the player experience a range of emotions. That same can be expected from Anthem, their upcoming game. This Story trailer talks about all the people you'll meet during the course of your game and how interacting with them can change your story. Your choices have consequences. This is how you make the game yours. Anthem is set to be released early next year and if you're like me, you can't wait to play it either.
We've all been eager to see what Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has been planning for their Battle Royal mode and here it is. This is most certainly a Black Ops game. The gameplay shows off so much, it's impossible to just imagine how crazy this mode will be. One thing I can say is that it looks intense. From ATVs to Helicopters, even Wingsuits. Getting around the battlefield will be one hell of a good time.
With Marvel's Spider-Man set to be released in just a few days, Insomniac Games has released a trailer for the games Photo Mode. Photo Mode has become a staple of a lot of recent games, including The Witcher 3 and most recently God Of War. In this trailer, we get to take a look at all the possibilities and I have to say that it looks like gamers will be taking lots of great pictures, like Peter Parker himself, of our favorite wall-crawler.

I wasn't expecting this. I really wasn't; I don't think anyone was. CD PROJEKT RED has released the E3 gameplay demo of their upcoming cyberpunk RPG, Cypberpunk 2077. This was the demo that only a select few got to see and everyone was talking about nearly a week after seeing it and I can see why. This game looks absolutely brilliant. There's so much in this gameplay demo to go through that I think it's good to watch it yourself and make your own judgment about the game.
I want it now. I want to create my own character. I want to find and use some of these awesome weapons and upgrade my character with kickass abilities. GIMME Cyberpunk 2077 now.

J. Jonah Jameson is back again with another insightful video about our favorite wall-crawler menace, as he'd claim. In this episode, he goes after Spider-Man's use of gadgets, different suits and suit abilities. Now, this is the first time we actually get to see any of the suit abilities. From the Spider-Punk suit's area-of-effect attack to the Scarlet Spider suit's multiple holograms. Combat in Marvel Spider-Man will be varied and fun, to say the least. We're just two short weeks away now.

With Gamescom 2018 kicking off today it's no surprise that we're getting new information about a recently announced, fan favorite, Devil May Cry V. Nero is back but this time he's different, well his arm is at least. In the demo (below) we see him utilizing a robotic, disposable arm that gets used up as he continues to fight demons. What's interesting is that as he uses them up he's able to replenish them as pickups from the environment around him.
Devil May Cry has always been over the top and the trailer doesn't pull any punches there. From riding a rocket to using a bike as a weapon only to ride it again. Only Devil May Cry can pull something some wonderful off.
I was never expecting to get a release date for this so soon after it was announced but it seems we'll be able to get our hands on this early next year on March 8th. I can't wait.

Marvel Spider-Man is three short weeks away from it's September 7th release date. This new trailer explores the open world of New York City. You get glimpses of all the notable landmarks around the city as Spidey traverses between them fighting crime and grabbing collectibles. We even get to see him using the metro.
Three weeks can't go by fast enough. I think we've all waited patiently enough for this game.
Battlefield V returns to World War II after success with Battlefield 1 and from this trailer it looks grand in both scale and action. Battlefield V is set to release on October 19th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
If the Doom Eternal gameplay demo didn't get you excited enough then here's more from Rage 2, that should get you going. It's more of the same that we've seen before but damn is it good. Rage 2 is adding so much more this time around, from more indebt vehicle combat to far more to do with the Wingstick. Another title I can't wait for.

Oh, my... On my way to hang out with some friends yesterday, I saw this pop up on my Youtube feed. Little did I realize at the time that Quakecon 2018 was underway. I kick myself for not being aware.
With that being said, Id Software demoed a seven-minute, pure action, pure heart racing, edge of your seat gameplay demo for their upcoming Doom Eternal. In this demo, they show off new weapons, new mods for your weapons, new ways of traversal and new enemy types. There's even an arm-mounted retractable blade and what seems to be a should cannon that doubles as both a flamethrower and rocket launcher.
There's no set release date for Doom Eternal but from what I see in this gameplay demo, I can't wait to get my hands on it.

Destiny 2 was released back in September of last year and since then has received a lot of criticism from fans for things they've done since release. Destiny 2: Forsaken, set to be released in under a month on September 4th is poised to change the game for the better.
To give players a taste of what's to come, Bungie did a livestream and here it is.

And here it is. The gameplay reveal for Rockstar Games Red Dead Redemption II. This game looks beautiful to say the least. The way they allow you to interact with the world is beyond impressive. From talking to your teammates to a passerby, you can do so much and hunting animals for money or loot...just wow.
This is just the first part, aptly title An Introduction, with more to come. What did you think of what Rockstar Games is doing and what what you saw?
