CyberPunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated games of the year. It was slated to be released earlier but was pushed to September. With that being said an Xbox One X Limited Edition Console was announced soon after and MY GOD is it beautiful. That was scheduled to be release in June. There was no set date for the release but when they created an Xbox page for it, I was there. Everyday. Refreshing. I DID NOT want to miss this console. No way was I was going to let this console pass me by. When June finally hit I was there refreshing like a madman just to make sure I didn't miss it. Now here's where this story goes south. One day last week I woke up, signed into work since I've been working remotely, as most others have, and totally spaced on refreshing. When I did, around 11am that morning--they were gone. This month the Xbox Games with Gold line-up is pretty good. For the month of August from August 1st to August 31st gamers will have instant access to Forza Horizon 2. Forza is an open-world racing game that continues the long line of Forza games, being the seventh in the series. This runs along with Death Squared that will wrap its time mid-August. Next up is For Honor. It follow's up Forza Horizon 2 and will be available from August 16 until September 15. For Honor is an action fighting game that has you taking on the role of Knights, Samurais or Vikings in a post-apocalyptic setting. Hello there, if you're reading this you've probably noticed that I haven't done a posting in quite some time. There's a reason for that. Let me explain. You see over the past few months I've been busy, with a lot of different things. So much so that I haven't been able to sit down and write a blog post or even put a few hours towards my favorite game(s). For starters I moved into a new position at work with a lot more responsibility and workload. Right after that I started looking into a new house while trying to release a Sci-Fi book I wrote and plan my upcoming wedding. I'm now have my own place with two weeks remaining for said wedding. Most would say that's quite a lot and yes I would agree but I wouldn't change anything that's happened in the past few months. But now that all these major life changes will soon be behind me I plan to throw myself back into the fray with games, blogs and my writing. How do I plan to do that? Well I...

The Xbox: A New Generation Revealed Conference is moments away. There are several ways to catch the event, from Youtube to Xbox Live, Spike to Gametrailers and beyond. No you didn't read the title wrong. According to an article up on GameInformer.com ( HERE ), Microsoft maybe set to reveal the next Xbox on May 21st in Redmond, Washington at 10 AM PDT/1 PM EST.  Mark the day on your calenders and be ready. I can honestly say that I haven't the slightest idea what Microsoft is planning for their next Xbox. There have been speculations and rumors floating about, especially that the console will require a constant internet connection that has been rubbing everyone the wrong way, however I'd like to wait for confirmation before weighing in. I'm expecting Microsoft to impress. Sony did a great job with their reveal of the PS4 (granted there wasn't an actual PS4 there) and anything less from Microsoft will utterly disappoint. The new Xbox fall dashboard update has increased the size of the flash drive storage capacity to 32GB. A Microsoft spokesman had this to say about the size increase:  The more our customers use their profile and download digital content, the larger the file size necessary to store that content and move it between consoles gets. Therefore we increased the size of the memory to enable our customers to take more of their Xbox profile with them on the go.

It would seem we haven't seen the last of Faith and her parkour skills. Rumor has it that EA is working a sequel to Mirror's Edge for the next generation Xbox that will also use Kinect gestures to control your character. It's also stated that EA is set to reveal the game at E3 next year meaning we have quite a while to wait before we heard anything solid. [via OXM ]

Apparently Take-Two and Irrational Games are doing something different with BioShock Infinite. In a Press Release , the developer announced a new "1999 Mode" which aims to offer a greater challenge to the game outside of just difficulty. Creative Director Ken Levine totes "In 1999 Mode, gamers face more permanent consequence of their gameplay decisions". The Press Release also goes on the state that this new mode will demand players pick specific specializations and focus on them. 1999 Mode is a result of a series of questions posed to fans about how they play BioShock games. The fans responded and the challenge is set. BioShock Infinite doesn't have a set release date but it is expected out this year. What do you think of the new mode?
