Bethesda & Game Reviews
Bethesda, the studio behind well known games like Skyrim, Doom and the upcoming Dishonored 2 have gone on record and said that they will no longer be providing advanced review copies of their games to media outlets. They essentially said this: "we want everyone, including those in the media, to experience our games at the same time." You can read what they had to say in it's entirety here . Honestly I see no problem with this. Often times reviews can make or break a game as some gamers hang on the words of those reviewing it. While there are those who don't.
