Bethesda, the studio behind well known games like Skyrim, Doom and the upcoming Dishonored 2 have gone on record and said that they will no longer be providing advanced review copies of their games to media outlets. They essentially said this:  "we want everyone, including those in the media, to experience our games at the same time." You can read what they had to say in it's entirety here . Honestly I see no problem with this. Often times reviews can make or break a game as some gamers hang on the words of those reviewing it. While there are those who don't. Bethesda Softworks has released two gameplay trailers showing two different ways of playing a mission in the game. The Low Chaos or Stealth way(below) and the High Chaos or Lethal way(above) and their respective abilities are highlighted within each video. Yesterday there was a teaser image released of a game Bethesda was working on. Today we now know what that game is. Wolfenstein: The New Order is set for a Q4 release on PS3, Xbox 360, PC and next-gen consoles. The game in set in Europe during the 1960s after the Nazis won World War II. You play as American war hero B.J. Blazkowicz as he launches a counter-offensive against the Nazi power. The game is currently being developed by MachineGames, a subsidiary of Zenimax, founded in 2009.

The Elder Scrolls Online Beta Sign-up has officially begun. Let the flood gates open. If you're interested in taking part in the beta head over HERE to put your name down as well as some more information. If you're one of the lucky few selected you get to embark on an Elder Scrolls adventure like no other. To go with the sign-up officially opening Bethesda has also released a brilliant CG Trailer--entitled The Alliances--that you can check out below. It's beyond words. Good luck to you with getting into the Beta and signing up, there is already a message stating that there's heavy traffic on the site .

This morning Bethesda announced the next piece of DLC making it's way to Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. This DLC, coming December 4th to the Xbox 360, is entitled Dragonborn and judging by the trailer the story revolves around the very first Dragonborn. So you can expect new locations, enemies and much more with this DLC. Stay tuned for more information as it become available.

The announcement came out of left field yesterday but now that we know about Elder Scrolls Online we cana ponder at the possibilities. In the interim, here's a teaser of what's to come. Mind you there isn't any gameplay or actual footage from the game.

In what is turning out to be quite a week for game news, GameInformer  has revealed that Elder Scrolls Online is in fact real and it is coming. In the June issue of the magazine, available digitally May 8th, GameInformer details various aspects of the game; from it taking place across the entire Tamriel, to the timeline being set a millennium before Skyrim. You'll also get to take a look at how questing is done, the dungeons and take a glimpse at PvP done Elder Scrolls style. Make sure to check out GameInformer regularly as they will have multiple exclusive updates about the game over the coming weeks. Elder Scrolls Online is slated to be released in 2013 on both PC and Mac. This will definitely be an issue worth reading, not just for Elder Scrolls Online but for all the other games that will be featured.

Bethesda confirmed today that the first piece of downloadable content coming to the world of Skyrim is in fact Dawnguard. The DLC will be a timed exclusive for the Xbox 360 arriving on other platforms 30 days later. Dawnguard arrives this summer and you can expect more information at E3. Alongside this reveal, the patch that allows Kinect integration with Skyrim was released today offering over 200 voice commands. Check out all the commands HERE . [via Kotaku ]

There has be news coming out of different outlets as to the first batch of Skyrim DLC. We've seen the Kinect integration trailer so we know that's coming and we've also seen images with the name Dawnguard attached to them. Other than that Bestheda has be tight-lipped on what we can expect for Skyrim DLC. Well Bethesda's Pete Hines stated, via Twitter, that he was trying to get more information on the Skyrim DLC and possibly releasing it next week. With that said all we can do it wait and hope to hear something about the Skyrim DLC. [via OXM ]

So, remember when there was a nasty rumor going around that Prey 2 from Bethesda Softwroks and Human head Studios was going to get cancelled. Do you, well it turns out the game is still in line to be released but with a slight delay.
