Techland has announced that a new Dead Island game entitled Dead Island: Riptide is currently in development. Expect a major reveal sometime this summer. This is surprising, I guess a 2nd game is a second chance to get it right.

Deep Silver has announced that a Game of the Year Edition for Dead Island will be released this June. On June 26th players can obtain the game which will include the Ryder White's Campaign DLC, Bloodbath Arena, and the Ripper weapon blueprint.  The Dead Island Game of the Year Edition will be available on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC for $29.99.
