Peter Molyneux Leaves Lionhead and Microsoft

You read that right, Peter Molyneux has decided to take his leave from Lionhead Studios and Microsoft for a new venture. Molyneux is the game designer behind games like Black & White and the Fable series (exclusive to Microsoft). He leaves Lionhead to join 22 Cans, a new game studio recently started by former Lionhead CTO Tim Rance.

This is surprising, although Microsoft still has Lionhead Studios losing Molyneux is big. It will be interesting to see what comes out of Lionhead next as well as 22 Cans.
