A Video Gamers Digest
Video Games are a unique media that are enjoyed by people, both young and old worldwide. Adults, teens, and kids all play games to escape to a fantasy world, educate themselves, get up and dance or just socialize with friends.
My aim in creating Games News Network is to build a place where I could show others all the great games, media and news that come out of the industry. It's all about giving back to an industry that has given gamers so much.
Microsoft to Increase XBLA Gamerscore
Microsoft reveled that starting in April all new Xbox LIVE Arcade games could possibly increase their max Gamerscore points from 200 to 400. Great news for the achievement lovers. In addition to the cap increase, the XBLA games will also be allow up to 30 total Achievements per game and DLC. Although in April this increase isn't mandatory, starting in June all new XBLA game will have to start using this format. This seems like a great move by Microsoft but what's your take on this new policy change.
OMG. There are certain instances when E3 is happening that a great game is announced. This is that instance. BIOWARE just announced their next game and man is it beautiful. It's an open-world RPG much like, and I hate to make the comparison but, Destiny. Only thing is, it looks so accessible. I'll get the Xbox One X just so that I can play this game with friends and experience it at it's best.
We finally get a release day for the long anticipated The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and we won't have to wait too long. The game will be released on March 3rd as a Nintendo Switch release game. This news comes straight from the Nintendo Switch event that occurred yesterday.
