The more I see of this game the more I get excited to play it. This latest trailer just shows us more of what you can do with your powers as both Emily and Corvo.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Feels...UNFINISHED!!!

Insomia Games has done something absolutely spectacular with Marvel's Spider-Man 2. I've just completed my story playthrough; finishing most of the side content along the way and it was a ride from start to finish. I'm going to try to avoid SPOILERS as much as possible but do forgive me if I do. By now you've seen the opening set piece for Spider-Man 2 but if you haven't its one hell of an opening. They go big. Insomnia comes out swinging and from there it keeps going up in scale and excitement. It's your classic Spider-Man story with some very familiar villains, some wonderful sequences and some very fun setups for what's to come with an Insomnia twist. I'll forgo talking about the story so we don't spoil anyone so I'll jump into my takeaways from Marvel's Spider-Man 2. As a consumer society we like, need and want different things and with a variety of options getting them can easily be achieved. When you apply this to the video game industry you get games in the various versions, from Regular to Limited Editions, to Collector’s and Deluxe Editions. In addition to these editions, retailers often take it upon themselves to offer pre-order incentives. Pre-Ordering will give you access to a specific item, weapon or accessory, a discount or some other incentive that is unique to the store to get customer to buy from that retailer. In 2011 we saw several games receive the incentives treatment and a few that received retailer specific incentives. Its now 2012 and retailers are back at it again. Mass Effect 3 and Prototype 2 have both been given retailer specific incentive months before their launch and you can guarantee a lot more will follow. Bioshock Infinite Alternate Box Art Poll

About two weeks ago Irrational Games revealed the box art for the upcoming Bioshock Infinite. This reveal didn't go over too well, with a lot of people disliking the box art. This week Ken Levine and Irrational Games are giving gamers the option to choose an alternate cover for the game; turning the original into a reversible cover (a la Mass Effect 3). Head over HERE to cast you vote for said alternate cover. Personally I like Designs #2, #4 and #6 but that's just me. What say you, what's your pick for the alternate box art?
