Mortal Kombat X Announced

Mortal Kombat X has been officially announced with a stunning cinematic-gameplay trailer. It's so beautifully done that I, one, can't wait to see more of this game and two, really want to go play the last Mortal Kombat game.

In the trailer there are several nodes to other games and previous MK titles. X-ray attacks are back, weapons and what looks like more emphasis on using the environment.  This trailer comes days before the Electronic Entertainment Expo kicks off on June 10th. You can expect to see more about the game then before it's released sometime next year.

I'm curious what else this latest installment will have in store for us and we can already tell that Sub-Zero and Scorpion will be making a return, although redesigned (which I love).
