CyberPunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated games of the year. It was slated to be released earlier but was pushed to September. With that being said an Xbox One X Limited Edition Console was announced soon after and MY GOD is it beautiful. That was scheduled to be release in June. There was no set date for the release but when they created an Xbox page for it, I was there. Everyday. Refreshing. I DID NOT want to miss this console. No way was I was going to let this console pass me by. When June finally hit I was there refreshing like a madman just to make sure I didn't miss it.
Now here's where this story goes south. One day last week I woke up, signed into work since I've been working remotely, as most others have, and totally spaced on refreshing. When I did, around 11am that morning--they were gone. My jaw hit the floor. Not only did the console get released [with what feels like no warning-although that's probably my fault for not doing enough research] but it was sold out in minutes. Inconceivable. So, I searched. Every retailer I could think of that would have the console listed. From Gamestop to Amazon to smaller known retailers. It was gone everywhere. Heartbroken and disappointed could not come close to how I was feeling. Not only did I miss my chance but there was no way for me to get the console now so I gave up.
A day later I was curious to see if it the console was being resold, well because that's a thing people do. Buy more than needed or just to then put it back online at a higher price. And MY GOD did they. At almost 4x the price of the original console. There is no way I was paying that much for a console. As much as I love the design, love everything I've seen and heard about the game. There was just no way to justify that purchase price, especially right now with the way the economy is going. However, I'm not giving up hope. I will one day get my hands on a CyberPunk 2077 Limited Edition Xbox One X. Why? Because it's just so an AWESOME design.

I have to say, the more I see of Watchdogs Legion, the more I can't wait to get my hands on it. Watchdogs Legion is shaping up to be quite the ambitious game. This trailer shows us some more of the characters we can recruit and play as: from the run-of-the-mil to a professional. We even get a glimpse of this games "bad-guy". Watchdogs Legion is set to be release this October 12th. What I really like is the player choice in this game. We can recruit based on our play-style. I want to start a weekly series of discussion post where a topic is picked and we have an open discussion of our thoughts and opinions. I have a few topics in mind but I open the floor to suggestions. In the video game industry, today's games usually have several modes unique to them. Two of those modes, single-player and multiplayer have become a norm for most game. Single-player is all about experiencing the story behind the game, watching beautifully rendered cut scenes and getting to know the main character(s). Multiplayer on the other hand is all about interacting with multiply players across the world while adhering to the game world and mechanics. There are a variety of different multiplayer game types, players may individually compete against two or more human contestants, work cooperatively to achieve a goal, or engage in a game type that incorporates any combination mentioned above. In the past few years the line between the two modes have started to blur, you can
The year 2020 was set to be a phenomenal year for video games; and don't get me wrong, it still is. However, a lot of the games that were coming out early in the year have since been DELAYED. The Final Fantasy VII Remake, Doom Eternal and now the wildly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 from CD Projekt Red, creators of the acclaimed Witcher series has also been delayed. How long is this delay you ask? Well the game was set to be out in April but now it's slated for September. That is an unbelievably long time to wait for a game that's been on everyone wanted list. Sigh. CD Projekt Red confirmed the delay via a message on their twitter page and the later in an official post. Sad to see this happen to a game I was literally planning on making my life for the next few years. ==== Courtesy of Games News Network
