CyberPunk 2077 DELAYED!!!

The year 2020 was set to be a phenomenal year for video games; and don't get me wrong, it still is. However, a lot of the games that were coming out early in the year have since been DELAYED. The Final Fantasy VII Remake, Doom Eternal and now the wildly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 from CD Projekt Red, creators of the acclaimed Witcher series has also been delayed. 

 How long is this delay you ask? Well the game was set to be out in April but now it's slated for September. That is an unbelievably long time to wait for a game that's been on everyone wanted list. Sigh.

  CD Projekt Red confirmed the delay via a message on their twitter page and the later in an official post.

 Sad to see this happen to a game I was literally planning on making my life for the next few years.

As a consumer society we like, need and want different things and with a variety of options getting them can easily be achieved. When you apply this to the video game industry you get games in the various versions, from Regular to Limited Editions, to Collector’s and Deluxe Editions. In addition to these editions, retailers often take it upon themselves to offer pre-order incentives. Pre-Ordering will give you access to a specific item, weapon or accessory, a discount or some other incentive that is unique to the store to get customer to buy from that retailer. In 2011 we saw several games receive the incentives treatment and a few that received retailer specific incentives. Its now 2012 and retailers are back at it again. Mass Effect 3 and Prototype 2 have both been given retailer specific incentive months before their launch and you can guarantee a lot more will follow. Mass Effect 3: Operation RESURGENCE

The next operation for Mass Effect 3 is about to begin. BioWare recently released the Resurgence Multiplayer which includes several new classes, weapons and maps. To go with this release this weekend's event will be codename RESURGENCE. All participating squads in this event will earn +10% experience when playing on the new Firebase maps: Hydra and Condor. In addition if you play this weekend you'll be rewarded with a Reserves Pack which contains one of the new class characters. This operation is only for XBOX360 and PC user and will run from Friday, April 13th at 5PM PST and ends Monday, April 16th at 5AM PST.
